Grayswood Cricket Club is a thriving family oriented Club run by volunteers that aims to provide access to the great game of cricket to all ages, genders and abilities. We hold the values of cricket very highly and insist that our members always respect each other and our opposition. We run Youth, Women’s, and Seniors’ Sections.

Our Youth Section runs from 5 years old to 19 and includes the ECB backed All Stars programme. We play matches from the U9 to U19. All age groups are coached by ECB qualified coaches and run by age group managers. The opportunity to participate is paramount and our most talented players aspire to achieve County honours. We are Clubmark accredited and affiliated to both Surrey and Hampshire County Cricket Clubs. (Youth)

Our rapidly expanding Women’s Section play softball cricket indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Inclusivity and enjoyment are an integral part of this section and we actively encourage non-cricketers to come and enjoy learning the game. (Women)

Our Senior Section run 4 teams. We have 3 Saturday XI’s that compete in the I’Anson League. These teams are currently in Divisions 1, 4 and 6. Our First XI offers competitive cricket to a high standard with our other Senior teams offering a pathway to the First XI for the most talented at the top, and more traditional village cricket in the 3rd XI. Our 3rd XI very much encourages youth participation and forms a crucial part of this pathway whilst in many cases offering the opportunity of parents and children playing together. Our Sunday XI has an extensive fixture list and plays teams from Surrey and the surrounding Counties. (Senior)

Training sessions for all age groups take place at Grayswood during the Summer on weekday evenings. There is also winter training and nets. All information appears on each teams page on our website. Our home matches are played at Grayswood Village Green and Lurgashall Village Green.
